Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Country Grey is a putty colour using greenish raw umber, and is a really useful colour. It's terrific on its own and with white or for distressing as a top coat with Cream or Scandinavian Pink underneath. It is generally seen as a more rustic colour good for a country look rather than the Château Grey.
Another way to use it is to mix it into another colour such as Château Grey or Duck Egg Blue to make them paler and knocked back.
Chalk Paint decorative paint by Annie Sloan is made specifically for painting furniture. It is totally matt and ideal for distressing and then waxing. Suitable for wood, plastic, metal, stone and brick.
We also offer Annie Sloan painting workshops so please sign up for one if you live near our shop.
13 square metres (enough for 2 coats on a large dresser).
Please be aware that colours may look slightly different on your monitor. We advise using a colour card for a true representation.
Don't forget your Clear Wax!

This was a revelation to me. I have old pine units that were hand made about 20 years ago but are dated and tired, not now they look wonderful. Loved the colour, goes well with other greys too.

I have not used it yet but I think the colour is different I really wanted a grey but the country grey seems to be more beige. I'm scared to use it on an old refectory table and really wanted grey

I painted an old wooden sideboard with no need to prime , the paint went on quickly and dried within 20 min the whole job only took a couple of hours and looks great , and hardly used any paint for the project !

I used this for the first time after a friend recommended it to me.
Its easy to use and has given an old pine cupboard a beautiful shabby chic look
I used the clear wax to finish off and I am delighted with the effect.

this is the first time i have used this paint and i can't sing it's praises too highly. The tin completed a large table and 8 chairs and was so easy to apply. Brilliant!!!

Order arrived very quickly. Great paint although it takes some practice to apply it correctly. Dries very quickly and needs to be applied quite thickly unless you want the underneath surface to show through. If you apply thinly this shows up when you wax. Having said that I am pleased with the end result and practice makes perfect !
