Duck Egg Blue Chalk Paint from Annie Sloan (1 Ltr)

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Duck Egg Blue is a greenish soft blue reminiscent of Rococo French and Swedish interiors. It looks wonderful and fresh with Old White, used over Chateau Grey and Aubusson Blue.

Chalk Paint decorative paint by Annie Sloan is made specifically for painting furniture. It is totally matt and ideal for distressing and then waxing. Suitable for wood, plastic, metal, stone and brick.

We also offer Annie Sloan painting workshops so please sign up for one if you live near our shop.

Coverage Information:
13 square metres (enough for 2 coats on a large dresser).

Please be aware that colours may look slightly different on your monitor. We advise using a colour card for a true representation.

Don't forget your Clear Wax!

Posted by d fitzpatrick on 12th Aug 2014

I have bought a couple of different colours but people have told m e that annie sloans duck egg blue is brilliant it goes on well like all of her paint but I found it perfect I painted a top half of a welsh dresser and put clear wax on I am only a novice but after I wiped off the wax it had that old look just what I wanted if you are having any doubts about the paint don't worry gust buy it

  2. Amazing Colour!!!

Great colour had to water it down as it's quite thick paint! Goes a little bobbly if you go over it too much.

  3. Fantastic Transformation

Posted by Kim on 22nd May 2014

This was my first attempt at using Annie Sloan chalk paint and I decided to take the bull by the horns and transform my outdated pine kitchen into a very chic and modern style country kitchen. The duck egg blue worked well on my units and complemented my aga perfectly. I have a very large kitchen and was pleasantly surprised that one pot of paint was more than adequate to cover two coats with a little to spare.
The colour of the paint was just as I hoped it would be and I can honestly say that my first painting adventure turned out much better than I could ever have imagined.

    Thank you Annie Sloan

I have been painting old and tired furniture for several months now and love the end results !
I recently tried duck egg blue on a bookcase which a friend gave to me. The transformation was just amazing !
I've now painted all of my lounge furniture in the same colour and I'm just delighted with my new room! Xx

  10. Lovely to work with

I have no painting experience so I heard about this paint and watched some clips on u tube of how to use it!!!!.. Can't be that simple I thought. I am disabled and have limited use in my right arm but I waited for a good day and started off. I didn't prep the old wooden bureau. I just painted it on and it had dried before I finished. It does look dull just like chalk. The second you start applying the clear wax, which just glides on with minimal effort (good for weak arm).. Like liquid gold. Then added the dark wax in areas required. I didn't think it could be that simple but these products are magic. The duck egg colour is beautiful (true duck egg), can be made as light as you like by adding old white paint etc... I've had numerous compliments on the painted bureau. I really am impressed and would recommend this paint to anyone.
