Medium Brush from Annie Sloan

£18.95

Made of pure bristle, this is a great brush for painting, particularly to achieve texture. It is oval, with a metal ferule and wooden handle.
These type of brushes have always been a favourite as they allow you paint expressively as the bristle is strong and firm but pliable. They can also be used for applying wax
25 cm long x 5cm ferrule width

  1. Superb brush 5 Star Review

Excellent brush - I read a couple of the reviews saying that any brush could be used just as well with the paint however I disagree, this brush was remarkable, well worth the investment.

  2. Best yet 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Apr 2017

I have been using many brushes over the past few years, including some AS flat brushes, but having recently purchased this brush, I have to say it is by far the best I have used to date.
Soft and easy to load with paint, bristles long enough to fit between chair spindles without having to go back through the other side. It can take a little longer to clean out, but it's worth it.

  3. Great paint brush 5 Star Review

I found this paint brush so easy to use, and the effect it gave is so much better than using cheaper brands. I'm definitely going to buy a range of those for future use

  4. makes painting a dream 5 Star Review

I wouldn't use any other brush

  5. Poor quality 2 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Sep 2015

This brush is very poor quality considering how expensive it is. The bristle kept coming out and made hard work of painting, had to keep stopping to remove the bristles. I had to use a cheap value brush in the end which was so much better. I wouldn't buy another of these brushes.

  6. Fab U Lous 4 Star Review

Takes a bit of getting used to simply because of the size but the results are so much better than using any old paint brush I found brush strokes very minimal, a tad expensive but may be you do get what you pay for.

  7. Nice Shape 4 Star Review

Posted by on 18th May 2015

This is the first time i have used an Annie Sloan brush .. overall i am pleased i bought one as it was very easy to use and made the painting process much quicker ... the only reason for four stars instead of five is that it lost quite a few bristles which was irritating having to keep removing them from the paint ... I have given it a good wash through so am hoping the next time it won't happen .... that will determine if i buy one for waxing as they are a little expensive, Ending on a positive it is very easy to clean. Delivery was quick and on time so will buy from here again x

  8. Excellent results! 5 Star Review

I initially chose not to purchase the Annie Sloan paint brush but changed my mind when my usual brushes produced too many brush marks. I decided to buy the medium brush which is suitable for most projects, and found it produced considerably less brush marks and a smoother finish. Well worth buying. I would suggest that before using you wash it out with washing up liquid an rub it through well to remove as many loose bristles as possible before use. Leave overnight to dry and you are ready to go.

  9. Brush 3 Star Review

Not quite as good as I hoped as some bristles came out so I think the product is a little expensive for the quality

  10. Well worth it for a good finish 4 Star Review

These specially shaped brushes are well worth it, though a little, dearer than other brands. It lost a few bristles to begin with but fine thereafter. Would recommend.
